Amnesty International USA Young Leaders Fellowship

Amnesty International USA is offering a one year paid Young Leaders Fellowship that aims to develop the next generation of human rights leaders and build capacity for membership growth. Yale World Fellows Program

The Yale World Fellows brings together rising stars from across disciplines and borders for an intense and unpredictable mash-up of ideas, world views and experiences. It is described as a learning lab for the brightest and most creative minds working on the big issues of our time.

Fellowships in International Human Rights

Human Rights Watch is offering fellowships for recent graduates of law schools or graduate programs in Journalism, International Relations, area studies or other relevant disciplines from universities worldwide.  

Fellows typically work full time in Human Rights Watch's New York or Washington D.C office or in some instances in another location. Fellows monitor human rights developments in various countries, conduct on-site investigations, draft reports on human rights conditions, and engage in advocacy and media outreach aimed at publicizing and curtailing human rights violations.

Young African Leaders Initiative Washington Fellowship
The Washington Fellowship is the flagship program of President Obama's Young African Leadership Initiative. President Obama launched the Young African Leadership Initiative in 2010 to help young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance, and enhance peace and security across Africa. The Washington Fellowship will bring 500 young leaders to the United States for academic course work and leadership training.
Humanity In Action Diplomacy & Diversity Fellowship
The Diplomacy and Diversity Fellowship is a new transatlantic Humanity In Action Program. The fellowship is an educational program for 24 American and European graduate students about the changing international dynamics of diplomacy and diversity.

Chicago Council Symposium: Next Generation Delegation
The Chicago Council on Global Affairs is now accepting applications from students to participate in the Global Food Security Symposium Next Generation Delegation. Convened annually by the Chicago Council, the Global Food Security Symposium discusses the US Government and International Community's progress on addressing global food and nutrition security. The Next Generation Delegation Program was launched in 2013 to provide an opportunity for promising students to engage in symposium discussions and to interact with policy, civil society, and business leaders working on Agriculture, food, and nutrition issues.
Hague Institute Summer Fellowship
The Hague Institute's highly selective summer fellowship program was launched in 2013 with the aim of developing the skills of graduate students in an interdisciplinary approach to global justice. The program is open to current or recent graduate students and runs from June 1 to August 31 each year.

The Global Health Corps Fellows
The Global Health Corps Fellows are motivated, intelligent, and believe health is a human right. They come from diverse backgrounds, and vary in educational experience, professional expertise, and personal story. Fellows have meaningful impact in their placement organization during the fellowship year, while developing leadership skills and relationship within a supportive community that will prepare them for deepened impact on Global Health over the course of their careers.
Arthur C. Helton Fellowship
The Helton Fellowship Program of the American Society of International Law, established in 2004 on the recommendation of the ASIL Honors Committee, recognizes the legacy of Arthur C. Helton, a remarkable ASIL member who died in the August 19, 2003 bombing of the UN Mission in Baghdad. 
Echoing Green Fellowship Program
The Echoing Green Fellowship program will more than $3.8 million in seed-stage funding and support this year to emerging leaders working to bring about positive social change. From thousands of applicants, only about 1 percent is ultimately awarded a fellowship. During their first two years, fellows receive up to $90, 000, participate in leadership development gatherings, and have access to the powerful network of the Echoing Green Fellows.
Kathryn W. Davis Project for Peace
Upon the occasion of the 90th Birthday, international philanthropist Kathryn Wasserman Davis chose to celebrate by committing one million to Projects for Peace. Now in its seventh year, the Davis projects for peace continue to support today's motivated youth to create and test their own ideas for building peace.

Clinton Global Initiative University
Building on the successful model of the Clinton Global Initiative, which brings together world leaders to take action on global challenges, President Clinton launched the Clinton Global Initiative University in 2007 to engage the generation of leaders on college campuses around the world.
TED Fellows Program
The TED Fellows participate in either our TED Conference in Vancouver or the TEDGlobal event in Edinburgh. In addition to attending the conferences, fellows will participate in specially designed pre-conference programs with training from the world's experts in spreading great ideas.
